A Nepali domestic worker dies working in Kuwait

Every week there are 30 reports of abuse by Nepalese workers to the Nepali Embassy in Kuwait. In this case, because the workers was undocumented, her family will not receive any compensation or insurance benefits. A Nepali woman went to Kuwait with dreams but came home in a coffin.

Nepal and Madagascar take the decision to stop sending domestic workers to Kuwait

According to local news, Nepal and Madagascar have imposed a ban to send domestic workers to Kuwait. Many women working as maids in the Middle East are being exploited with little redress.
