Part of Project 189’s mission is to research, document and share knowledge on the matter of domestic workers rights in the Middle East. Sharing knowledge is a powerful tool that leads to initiatives that pursuit to improve conditions of domestic workers. We are very excited that Project 189’s founder has been selected to participate at the conference ‘Corporate care. Migrant labour and the care industry in times of (non) crisis’ at Goldsmiths College, University of London on the 29th October 2015. Such opportunities provide platforms that make it possible to move forward on our mission, however in order to make this opportunity happen we have to cover the travel expenses. At Project 189 we are inviting the community to support our campaign either by donations or by sharing our mission with others.
Follow the link below to learn more about how Project 189 became to be and about our current fundraising campaign, and thank you to all who support and believe that all of us together can improve the conditions of workers here and everywhere.
