Israa Khater holds a dual master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of York and Erasmus University. She completed her undergraduate education in the American University of Sharjah and obtained a Bachelor’s of Arts in International Relations.She focuses her research interest on the Palestinian question and the wider MENA region. She wrote her master’s thesis question on Palestinian civic engagement and the boycott movement.
Israa has experience in the humanitarian field having worked and volunteered in the Netherlands, the UK, the UAE, Kuwait and Jordan. She was active in the UK BDS chapter and she is currently a member of BDS Kuwait Chapter.
