A comprehensive understanding of domestic workers conditions, involves a thorough investigation of the particular situation from different ends. ILO has published guidelines to carry out investigations that can be useful when designing qualitative studies. Such guidelines are in a preliminary state, since they are based in experiences from the studies carried in three countries (Tanzania, Zambia and Philippines.)
