ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This project seeks to develop the first interactive mapping tool for human trafficking and forced labor in Kuwait. Our team will collect, analyze, visualize data, and report on the status quo of migrant workers in the Kuwait. We will also coalesce with like-minded organizations to provide a support network for migrant workers at risk, as well as formative workshops that promote corporate responsibility within the private sector. Moreover, our policy recommendations to different government bodies in Kuwait, as well as those of migrant workers´ countries of origin, are expected to reframe and enhance harm reduction strategies to fight and prevent human trafficking and forced labor.
ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are looking for an accountant who can manage all accounting matters for this project. The accountant will work closely with the project manager in order to allocate the grant budget, keep books and meet al grantor’s expectations related to accounting.
KEY TASKS

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- B.A. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
- Fluency in English
- 2 years of experience in accounting and report writing
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Fluency in Arabic
- Familiarity with NGO work
